Of course, you probably know this because you have visited a
site at one time or another and the format was not compatible
with your browser or utilized plugins that you did not have
installed, you log onto a site and it proudly displays, Best
Viewed With (whatever you don't have), blah, blah, blah...
LIMITING YOUR AUDIENCE
If you want to cut your visitors by one third, design your
site to be Browser-specific (note that many do this... which is
okay if you're president of the x-browser fan club). The most
effective sites allow visitors from any browser.
TEST YOUR SITE WITH DIFFERENT BROWSERS
Rather than loose seven percent of your users, try surf-busting
your site by viewing it with a different browser. You might find
it interesting, what other visitors are seeing when they visit
with another browser, other than the one you usually use.
